After years working in visual communication, I decided to explore the fusion of design’s rationality with the creative freedom of illustration through volume and materiality. I am interested in figurative reality expressed through an honest and gestural language, leaving aside purely realistic representation or abstract art disconnected from reality. My work sits between visual experience and expressionism, leaving room for concept without imposing it, and avoiding an approach where aesthetics become mere decoration. My intention is for the pieces to be appreciated for what they are, not for what they are “supposed” to mean.
